FAQ

Every question about AI website rebuilds, answered plainly.

Everything people ask before they paste an address. If yours is missing, write to us — the answer will end up here.

What does ReWynder actually do?

It reads your existing website, shows you nine redesigns of your landing page within minutes, and — once you pick one — rebuilds the whole site in that design, page by page: the same content, the same pages, the same URLs, as a fast, modern site with its own CMS, hosted in a cloud project of its own.

Do I need an account to see the designs?

No. Paste your address, tell us your relationship to the site, and the first nine designs appear without a login. You create an account when you confirm a design and want the full site read and priced.

Can I get more than nine designs?

Yes. Zoom into any design and ask for two more takes in the same style-and-approach corner — kept in the family, deliberately different from each other. Each corner of the grid holds up to two extra takes, so the nine can grow into a design bank of up to 27. Anyone with the share link votes on every design separately, always from the same fixed number of points.

How long does it take?

The first designs arrive within minutes — tiles appear one by one as they are ready. Reading and analysing a full site takes minutes to an hour depending on its size; the build then runs page by page while you watch, and each finished page is editable straight away.

What does it cost?

A rebuild is a one-off package: Basic from €190 + €5 per complexity point, Premium from €390 + €5, PRO from €790 + €5 — never below the base fee. A 25-page business site lands between roughly €325 and €550 on Basic. The price is computed by fixed rules from what the analysis counts — never by an AI — and you confirm it before anything is built. Maintenance is a one-year contract per site from go-live, everything included, paid monthly or yearly — yearly with 10 % off.

How much does it cost to rebuild a website?

With ReWynder the cost to rebuild a website is fixed before anything is built: Basic starts at €190 plus €5 per complexity point, and the total is never below the base fee. A typical 25-page business site lands between roughly €325 and €550 on Basic. Maintenance is €15 per month on Basic, everything included, as a one-year contract paid monthly or yearly.

What is a complexity point?

A unit the analysis assigns to each piece of functionality it finds: a static section is 1, a simple form 3, a content collection 5, search 8, a login area 10, a checkout 15. Similar pages built from one template are priced as one template, not per page. You can switch removable items on and off and watch the price follow.

Which package should I choose?

Basic rebuilds your site as it is, in the design you chose, and lets you change styles. Premium adds Expert mode — control of every CSS property, custom instructions per component, a site-wide chat that changes pages or adds new ones from your component library — and human support. PRO adds new functionality (forms, integrations, application code), access to the source code and its download, and access to your cloud project on request. You can upgrade later; what you paid is credited.

What if the site is not mine?

You can still explore. Without confirmed rights ReWynder only reads what is public, keeps one example of each kind of page, rewrites every text and replaces every picture with a generated placeholder — nothing original is stored or reused. The result can never be published on the original domain or a look-alike. If you obtain the rights later, you start a new project with them.

Do I keep my URLs and my search ranking?

Yes. The blueprint carries a 301 redirect table from every old URL to its new place, the rebuilt site ships a sitemap and robots rules, and metadata is preserved. Pages are built to WCAG 2.2 AA with a Lighthouse performance budget of 90 or more.

Can I rebuild my website without losing SEO?

Yes — rebuilding your website without losing SEO is the default here. The rebuilt site keeps your URLs, and where an address does change, a 301 redirect maps the old URL to its new place. The site ships a sitemap and robots rules, and page titles and metadata are preserved, so search engines find the same pages at the same addresses.

What happens to my content, collections and forms?

Content is carried over into the new site and remains editable: static texts through the ReWynder dashboard, repeatable content (team members, products, articles) through your site’s own /admin. Forms keep working — submissions land in your inbox and in the site’s admin. With a connector, collections are read from your CMS directly; with a crawl, from the rendered pages.

Which platforms can you read directly?

WordPress and WordPress.com through a one-click connection, WordPress and Joomla through a self-removing connector or a backup upload, Drupal, TYPO3, Magento, PrestaShop, OpenCart and Concrete CMS through a database export. Wix, Squarespace, Shopify and Blogger are read as public sites, enriched with the exports they let you download. Everything else is read as a public site.

Where is my site hosted, and who owns it?

Each published site runs in a Google Cloud project of its own, in the datacenter of your choice anywhere in the world — europe-west4 in the Netherlands by default, with regions across Europe, the Americas and Asia–Pacific on the world map; Google Cloud today, AWS, Azure and Scaleway coming soon. You can look inside from day one. Source access and a full download are part of PRO: you request them once the PRO year is fully paid — a monthly payer can settle the remaining months at once. Access to or handover of the cloud project is a separate request; after a handover, ReWynder keeps nothing.

Can I edit the site after it is built?

Yes, in three modes. Explore shows what the platform is doing and lets you approve pages. Edit opens a property panel for text, colour, space and shape, with "apply everywhere" for site-wide changes. Expert (Premium and PRO) adds every CSS property and a site chat. Every change is a commit you can revert individually.

Is my data safe?

Your platform data sits in a database that enforces tenant isolation itself, in EU data centres, encrypted with customer-managed keys. Raw captures from connectors live in storage with a hard 7-day delete rule; credentials are revoked the moment a copy ends. Generated HTML never runs inside the platform. AI providers are reached through one guarded door; no model ever sees a credential.

Which sites can you not rebuild yet?

Sites whose value is a bespoke web application — logged-in dashboards, complex booking engines, custom marketplaces — are analysed but may be marked "not convertible yet", with the exact reason. You can leave your email; we tell you when that kind of site can be rebuilt. Sites that fall under our content policy are refused, with the reason shown and a way to object.

I run an agency. Is there a business account?

Yes. Business accounts group client projects and earn marginal volume discounts: 20 % on projects 1–10, 30 % on 11–25, 40 % from the 26th — on the development package and the maintenance fee, never on at-cost cloud services. The switch is offered automatically once you commission your tenth project.

How do payments work?

One-off packages are paid through Adyen’s hosted checkout — cards, iDEAL and SEPA among others — in euros. Maintenance is charged to a stored payment method, monthly or yearly: one all-inclusive fee, hosting included. Only when your site needs separate cloud services — a virtual machine, an SQL database — are those added, at cost, as a fixed amount you approve before the site deploys, so the monthly total is known exactly up front. Prices include VAT.
