Connector · Database export

Rebuild Drupal, TYPO3 and Magento sites — from a database export.

Recognised from your landing page: Drupal, TYPO3, Magento, PrestaShop, OpenCart and Concrete CMS. Zip your SQL dump together with your files folder and upload it. ReWynder parses the dump itself — nothing runs on your server, and a crawl of the public site stands behind the upload.

  1. Upload your database and files

A zip containing your SQL dump and your files folder. ReWynder parses the dump itself — no access to your server is needed.

  2. Read the public site

A real browser renders every page — sitemap first, then every link — and captures text, structure, images, computed styles and screenshots. Always available, always last.

How the upload works

  • One zip: your SQL dump (.sql) and your files folder
  • Up to 20 GB, in resumable chunks — a dropped connection picks up where it left off
  • The dump is parsed by ReWynder’s own streaming reader; media is copied from the archive
  • Content tables feed the site model; sessions, caches and user tables are ignored
  • The upload session is valid for 15 minutes to start and lives in a bucket with a hard 7-day delete rule

Before we copy your data

A database can hold personal data of your customers or members. Before a database is copied, the data-processing terms are shown and recorded, and you choose what happens to personal data:

  • Leave out user accounts and customer data (recommended)
  • Pseudonymise personal data
  • Include everything

Consent is per class of data and re-checked on every step; a database consent never carries over to anything else.

Drupal and TYPO3

Content types with many nodes or records are recognised as collections; the public site is read as well, so what the dump does not describe — rendered layouts, computed styles — is still captured.

Magento, PrestaShop, OpenCart

Catalogues become collections in the new site’s CMS; product pages are priced as one template. A checkout is inventoried as functionality and rebuilt within the package you choose.

No export at hand?

Skip the step. A real browser reads every public page — sitemap first, then every link — and the rebuild proceeds from the rendered site. You can add exports later as enrichment.
